High quality!!

This kit was great for my first suturing attempt. I had to get it for school but honestly it’s something I will continue to buy and practice on when I am a nurse practitioner eventually as well. Had some trouble with the “skin” tearing but it can’t mimic skin perfectly. Overall a great product.
Matthew Roed
Excellent product. I use this to teach my children needed skills
José Luis Gonzalez
Price is great and all the stuff you get. Plus you’ll also get a instructional video and there’s a code so you can get 12 free extra sutures. Definitely worth the money plus the extra sutures, I can teach my whole family.

The customer support is absolutely amazing and very responsive! Claimed my "gift" by them and they made it so easy.
Haven't used the product yet but the material easily replicates the skin and will definitely improve my suture abilities.
Strongly recommend!

this practice kit looks very well made.

I love it. I am a high school student in MediClub, and my club president recommended us to buy a suture kit to practice at home. I’m glad I chose this option. Compared to the ones we use in our club, this is much more durable and doesn’t rip easily. The tools are easy to hold and efficient. I appreciate the blank space, it’s very creative. Thank you for making such a high quality kit. I recommend this.

My 12 year old has been wanting to be a surgeon since she was 3. I got this for her birthday and when I woke up the next morning she was using it already before breakfast. She is studying YouTube videos to try and learn the basics, but she is incredibly stoked for even SOMETHING to try her future skills on! Such a great product, and great communication from the company!!

I’m premed and I also work in a dermatology clinic, my doctor has been teaching me how to suture and I bought this so I could work on it as well at home. I feel very confident I will be very prepared for med school!

I have been looking for a good practice suture kit and I have to say for the price this kit is very good, I have only one issue with the kit andits that the material can be quite stiff and because some of the simulated cuts or lacerations are very wide it can be difficult to get the suture placement properly closed, how ever most of them are ok and I like the option to create my own laceration. You can see in
the picture I was able to lay some horizontal mattress sutures easily with the 5-0 silk. The sutures are decent quality to practice with, the instruments provided are obviously not truly meant for surgery so they not up to snuff on that aspect but your not buying this for that. To learn and practice this is a good kit I do like the ability to see the dermis, epidermis and subcutaneous layers for placing subcuticular sutures which I have done and look very pleasing.

Nice kit. Great for practice!
Catherinea
This is a really great practice kit. Easy to use, with lots of choices of lacerations and suture types. Fast shipping and great value

I'm highly satisfied with my purchase. I originally ordered this suture kit b/my clinical preceptor recommended and said they have the best practice kit for suture training on Amazon. The quality is excellent beyond my expectation!
Besides, they sent me a dozen of free extra practice sutures as you see in the picture. Thank you!!
KIAYA PRUITT
I love this product it is really helping practice techniques I will need to be successful in the medical field.
Dr Ron
Great training equipment. Durable and extremely close to practical. Highly recommend getting this.
Ruby Robinson
Great for practicing! Not exactly like skin texture but good to get the muscle memory of doing sutures.
Timmy Singer
I genuinely enjoy everything about this kit! Perfect for beginners. You get so much for the money. It’s absolutely stunning. Very easy to follow video if you’re inexperienced. They also add in a free gift if you follow the steps just by scanning a QR code. Definitely a must have, and an excellent gift idea! 100% recommend!
Chance
Everything arrived quickly and in great condition with more practice sutures than I had anticipated. I can't wait to start practicing!
One thing to keep in mind when ordering is that there is no suture learning guide or how-to involved with this so prior knowledge would be required. Not a downside at all since there are many sources available for learning.
Molly Forlines
This is perfect kit for learning how to suture! It includes everything you need, and is very high quality!
Rachel
As a Pre-Medical student, I am always looking for new materials that will further my education. I stumbled upon this suture practice kit on Amazon. It is amazing. If you take time to research the individual items, you will see value you are receiving. The suture pad itself is of high quality. Since receiving my kit on December 6th, I have practiced every night, and have not had any issues with tearing in my pad. The sutures include various sized needles and suture materials. The tools are sturdy in hand. As with all suture practice pads, they do eventually wear out and begin to tear. When that does occur, I will definitely repurchase this kit!

Product is great and provides a variety of lesion types to practice different methods.
If I had one gripe, it's that the top layer is much less forgiving than real skin, and if you apply the same amount of pressure on your knots, the suture will tear through the silicone. I remedied this by making much wider margined sutures than I would in real life.
Tools are also quite light and not exactly surgical quality, but that's to be expected at this price point. They do get the job done however.
Rosa G Brenes
Loved that the kit brought a variety of sutures and the equipment to practice with. Additionally the affordability. Highly recommend this product.
Hannah Grachek
Great for beginners such as myself for learning different suture techniques.
Josh
This kit comes with everything needed to get started. There’s no over paying for the tools or having to find a suitable suture pad. After searching for kits I finally found the Artagia kit and it was by far the best purchase I could have made. As you see in the second picture above, I was able to get started right away. Thanks to the extra sutures provides, I have been able to continuously improve and practice different suturing techniques using different sizes and material.

This is awesome! I am a FNP student attending online classes. In my clinical setting we have encountered patients needing sutures but I never had any experience or practice with this task. Anyways, to help me learn I purchased this kit and my preceptor sat down with me and taught me a simple suture. She was impressed by the quality of the kit and the fact that real tools were provided. I’d highly recommend for anyone looking to enhance their suturing skills.

I am a medical student, and i would really recommend this suture practice kit if you want to master your techniques. The suture pad and tools quality are very good, i tried doing the subcutaneous suture technique, wich i pull the needle on the suture pad a little bit, and it didn't rip off. I sutured the same cut lots of times, and when i cut the stitches out, the pad stays as if it were untouched. If you want the pad to be durable, just use it with good care. It has three layers, flesh, fat and skin, with different types of cuts, simulating skin lacerations, which you can practice different types of techniques. The tool case is not very high quality though, but it's OK, if what we are aiming for is the suture pad and the tools. And it only comes with the nylon type suture thread, when there are other types too, but it is fine since its just for practice. This kit has everything you need to practice suture skills. Recommended!

So I am med student, hoping to become a plastic surgeon one day, and I just started my residency. My suturing definitely needed some practice to get myself ready for real life, so just like everyone else I was a regular at my local grocery store shopping for chicken breasts and pig’s feet, and practicing that way. Also banana peels were decent enough for practice… But such a messy way to practice, and often smelly! Yikes!
Then one day I ran into one of my old teachers and he told me about these suture kits that you can buy online, that are so much better than the gross meat and banana peels. They are more realistic and are made just like real human flesh. So I went online and did some googling and a bunch of these suture kits came up. After some research and reading reviews I chose to go with this product. I clicked buy and the wait began. I was actually excited to see what this is all about and if the product was actually as good as it was promised to be. I am not a big online shoppers and have gotten super crappy products before, so I am very cautious.
Soon enough the product has arrived and my first impressions were good. I liked the delivery time, arrived quick, I liked the packaging, the tools that I needed were already included, nicely and neatly organized. The board itself looked and felt quite realistic, similar to human flesh indeed and had lots of cuts, plus space for more cuts to be made.
So overall I was pleasantly surprised, as I tend to be a skeptic and a critic. But the product was good, I’ve been using the suture pad and the tools for a while now, making new incisions over and over again, suturing away and getting better and better. Can’t wait till I can actually finally operate on a face all on my own! Soon this day will come, I know it!
So here are my thoughts on this product:
Pros:
I like how this kit is organized. I tend to be messy and lose things, but here all the tools come in a box and I just put everything back in its place. It’s a complete tool set and has all that you need to practice: nylon threads, hegar needle holder, adson forceps, scissors, blades, etc. Not all online products had the whole set, which was part of the reason I went with this brand.
The pad itself is made out of silicone, feels very natural, doesn’t rip easily, seems like its going to last quite some time, like its actually a very well made product. The mesh layer is a big deal too, I guess that’s the part that prevents the rips and makes it durable. Apparently this “mesh layer” is their strong point.. So far so good, no complains.
The board had variety of wounds as well as space for me to make my own additional cuts. The size of the board is just right, I didn’t want to get a pocket size one as its just too small and not enough space for sufficient practice.
The price was good. Very good value – because you get all this stuff in the package, that you will definitely use. As a broke student, I count my dollars!
Cons:
I wish the package included more suture thread types, I know nylon ones are good and most popular ones, but I would suggest to add variety of thread. Also I’d make the board even bigger with more space for cuts. But these are just my suggestions, everyone has their own preferences.
Overall to sum up, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to other students.
Cheers!

I started my residency 6 month ago and needed some suture practice to perfect my technique, as well as get enough confidence and steady hand for real life scenarios. Initially I tried using chicken breast and pig’s feet, and although the experience was close to real human skin texture and consistence, it was rather unconformable to practice that way, when I had to go to the store and buy meat every time I needed to do more practice… then freeze it and unfreeze it… was rather messy and smelly over time….
I wanted to find a better way and did a bit of research and found a couple of these training kits. I have to say, I certainly prefer this method for practice! I was very much impressed particularly with this brand and their product! Here are my thoughts below:
Pros:
The MESH layer in this pad is definitely a big deal! I tried another competitor pad and his pad was not good quality, the sutures ripped through the silicone under a little bit of tension and did not provide the proper simulation, I returned that one for a refund. This pad by ArtagiaMED is certainly better! The mesh makes the silicone pad much durable and prevents rips. You can remove the sutures and practice repeatedly on the same wound type because of that feature.
Complete tool set. It included a complete tool set that has all you need to practice, and no further purchases are required. Don’t need to borrow the tools anymore from my supervisor. It came with 7 nylon threads, which you can always purchase more if needed later on.
Good quality tool set and storage case keeps things compactly organized.
Has pre-cut wounds and sufficient space for additional cuts. I was able to expand existing wounds and make additional cuts of my choice on the side of the pad to practice other various injury scenarios. There are other “pocket size” pads out there that are too small and do not allow for that flexibility.
Good value. Some other brands sell pads and tools separately which adds up in cost, in this case you get all you need in one product and great price!
Cons:
I would make the pads a bit bigger but seems like this is one of the largest sizes on the market anyway…
I showed it to my supervising doctor and she loved it! She said “I wish we had something like that when I needed practice 15 years ago!” She will recommend it to her other residents.
5 stars to this product! And company customer service was also great, quick delivery and communication!

Over the last couple of summers, I spent vacations working with a CT surgeon. He taught me to practice suturing on roasted turkey breast you get from the deli - 0.5 inches thick sliced.
He said if you practice suturing and tying down knots gently without pulling through the turkey and shredding it up you'll do fine in the OR. So I did this for a while. I am a hardcore vegan, so dealing with meat was not fun for me as you can imagine.
Then my friend showed me this suture kit that she was using. So I tried it and liked it better. I bought this product recently myself and have used it quite a bit. Its pretty good and I am happy she showed this to me. I am a vegetarian, so dealing with meat was not fun for me before as you can imagine.
